Special train for Kumbh Mela:The North Western Railway has decided to run a Kumbh Mela special train from Ajmer to
Haridwar, chief PRO Lalit Bohra informed today. The 236 Ajmer-Hardwar Express train would run from March 13-16 while on return it would be available as 235 Haridwar-Ajmer Express from March 14-17.
Its halts have been fixed at Kishangarh, Phulera, Asalpur, Jaibner,
Jaipur, Gandhinagar, Dausa, Bandikui, Alwar, Rewari, Delhi, Shyamali and
Jawalapur.

Blood donation camp: As many as 265 units of blood was collected during a blood donation camp at Shaheed College of Engineering and Technology. The camp was organised with the help of department of blood transfusion of Government Medical College, Sector 32,
Chandigarh, and NSS wing of SUS Group. Professor HPS Sidhu, principal of Shaheed Udham Singh Women Engineering College, emphasised on the need for screening and storage of blood.

BTech, pharmacy, hotel management and BEd received degrees at a convocation ceremony of Chandigarh Group of Colleges here

Three killed in mishaps: Saraswati haling from Bihar was killed in a road accident near Chahal Nagar today. In another mishap, one unidentified Migrant youth was run over by a running train near Phillaur Railway Station yesterday. A migrant from Bihar was killed after being run over by a train near local Santokhpura railway crossing today. The Railway Police registered a case and sent the body to local Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination.375 students get degrees: As many as 375 students of Kamala Nehru College for Women were awarded degrees during the convocation on Saturday. The students belonged to both graduate and postgraduate level. Besides, 296 students were given away prizes for their outstanding performance in academic and co-curricular activities.
