LIT moots housing schemes with private participation

Octogenarian donates body to medical college

his body posthumously to the DMC and H, Ludhiana. Basakha Singh was accompanied by his wife Randhir Kaur, daughter Davinder Kaur and sin-in-law Advocate Rajinder Pal Singh.
While talking to The Tribune he said that he was born in April, 1923 in Jhorran village near Raikot and served the
Indian Army. After retirement, he occupied various posts in the CPM and remained the sarpanch of the village for 15 years. After studying ayurvedic medicine he even served the area with his expertise in medicine free of cost.
