3-yr-old girl raped by tenant

A three-year-old girl was allegedly raped yesterday evening by a man who had been staying as a tenant for the past one year in her parents’ house located at EWS colony near Focal Point. The matter came to light today after the police booked Sahib Ali, a resident of Gorakhpur, for the heinous crime.
Irked over snapping of power, shopkeepers block NH

Setting up of mobile tower draws flak

Residents of Moti Nagar locality in the city are up in arms against the ongoing construction of a mobile tower of a mobile service provider company. They have demanded withdrawal of the NOC granted to the company for erection of the tower, as the structure would become a permanent source of nuisance as also health hazard in the residential area.
