Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: The minimum temperatures fell in west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 02.8 C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 16: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: A fresh western disturbance may cause isolated to scattered rain/snow in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Night temperatures are likely to increase by 02 to 03 degree C over the region.
