Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: The minimum temperatures rose in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. They were below normal in Punjab, largely above normal in west Rajasthan, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 4.7°C recorded at Amritsar in Punjab.

Forecast valid until the morning of December 7: Weather will be mainly dry in the region. After 24 hours isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in west Rajasthan.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in Punjab and west Rajasthan.
