Kalam for early treatment to combat typhoid

A typhoid test kit developed by the Defence Research and Development (DRDO) establishment in Gwalior will help save many human lives as it can detect the antigen in patients’ serum in just three minutes, said Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India, at the inauguration of the 16th Annual National Conference of Medical Biochemists (AMBICON 2008) at the Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, today.
PGI to come in purview of CAT
