MC to auction abandoned vehicles

Man gets 10-yr jail for carrying poppy husk

The Court of Additional Sessions Judge Ashok Kumar has convicted Narinder Singh of village Dehlon on the charges of possessing huge quantity of narcotics at his home.
He is sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for ten years.

Inmate alleges assault by superintendent

An inmate at central jail had reportedly injured himself by smashing a piece of broken slab against his head here last evening.
The inmate, Sucha Singh, who was brought to civil hospital for the first aid,
