Rs 200 cr for upkeep of jails, says Gabria

While the capacity of Faridkot, Nabha and Kapurthala-based jails is being increased by the Punjab government to accommodate 6,000 inmates in these jails, more barracks are being constructed in other jails of the state so as to enable them to accommodate about 4,000 additional prisoners.
