Day 1: Farmers fail to
procure seed
Ludhiana, September 18
A large number of farmers from across the
state were left high and dry on inaugural
day of the Kisan Mela here today when
they could not procure seeds allegedly
due to ‘‘mismanagement’’ and ‘‘preferential
treatment’’ being given to a select
few.
