3 students caught stealing bike

Heist at computer shop

Smack seized

Water shortage in Daresi irks residents
Ludhiana, August 28
Shortage of potable water is troubling the residents of Daresi and division no 4 for the last four days. Despite repeated complaints to the residents, the snag in motor pump has not being rectified.
The residents said they were forced to fill water from private connections. They
were not even able to take bath in this weather as every bucket of water was to
be carried manually.

Visitors harassed at suvidha centre

Inconvenience was caused to city residents at suvidha centre of the district administration here today as the public works were delayed for hours together.
Visitors to the office alleged that the work was being delayed due to connivance
of employees at the centre as well as the advocates, who identified the
deponents in affidavits and other legal documents.
