‘Adopt dairy farming to
boost income’

To create awareness among farmers about dairy farming and to encourage its adoption along with agriculture, the Progressive Dairy Farming Association, Punjab in collaboration with State Bank Of India, Chandigarh, organised a seminar at Century Resort, here today. Daljit Singh, state president, presided over the function, where as J. K. Sharma, GM, was the guest of honour. Hundreds of farmers from the area participated in the seminar.
No relief from power cuts

Homemade milk in Verka bottles

Homemade flavoured milk was found in Verka “Pio” bottles at a milk bar in Polo Ground here today. The incident came to light when some players came to the milk bar. They ordered for “Pio” milk bottles and found the taste to be different. Moreover, the shopkeeper charged only Rs 10 per bottle whereas the actual price is Rs 12.

Rock Rovers endeavour to revive hockey
