Infected with HIV, young man fights for justice

A Haryana-based youth, who was infected with the deadly HIV virus either by a local nursing home or a public laboratory, is not only fighting the fatal disease but also police inaction in bringing the guilty to book.

Thanks to the lackadaisical attitude of board officials in Mohali as these students have not been issued certificate one month after the declaration of results.

Probe into rejection of applications begins

The Vigilance Bureau, Punjab, has initiated a probe into the alleged exploitation of hundreds of farmers who had deposited huge sums for getting connections under Own Your Tube Well
(OYT) scheme with electric contractors, but their applications were rejected as the equipment, including transformers, were found to be duplicate.
