Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in East Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, at a few places in west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Sadhaura 1, Himachal Pradesh: Dehra Gopipur 2, East Rajasthan: Abu Road and Shahpura 4 each, Mahwa, Metra and Nadauti 3 each, Mandrayal, Kanva, Kesarpura, and Sajjangarh 2 each and Sikari, Sallopat, Sarada, Sapotra, Gogunda, Jhadol and Danpur 1 each, West Rajasthan: Barmer 3, Pokran 2 and Bhopalgarh and Osain 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Varanasi A.P. 32, Mirzapur F.M. 12, Jaunpur F.M. 9, Neemsar 8, Ghazipur F.M. and Varanasi F.M. 7 each, Varanasi A.P. 32, Mirzapur F.M. 12, Jaunpur F.M. 9, Neemsar 8, Ghazipur F.M. and Varanasi F.M. 7 each, Varanasi city 6, Birdghat and Sultanpur 5 each, Allahabad, Chillaghat, Gorakhpur and Turtipar 3 each, Ballia F.M., Basti F.M. and Bhatpurwaghat 2 each and Chhatnag and Khadda 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Aninghat, Dabri, Gomatia and Shajahanpur 3 each and Fatehgarh 1 and Uttarakhand: Uttarkashi 12, Pantnagar and Tehri 5 each, Tehri F.M. 4, Banbasa and Dehra Dun F.M. 3 each, Dehra Dun and Mukteshwar 2 each and Marora, Deoprayag and Srinagar 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 4: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in East Rajasthan and Uttarakhand and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is likely in East Uttar Pradesh during the next 48 hours.

Outlook for subsequent two days: Rainfall activity over the region is likely to increase by July 5 onwards.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of July 4: Warm and Humid day. Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundery activity towards evening/night.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall activity likely to increase by July 5 onwards.
