Mystery shrouds DMC worker’s death
Ludhiana, June 18
Raju, a 22-year-old sweeper at Dayanand Medical College (DMC), died under mysterious circumstances at a temple in Pratapsinghwala locality this morning.
Relatives of the deceased alleged foul play, while temple authorities said he died after he fell down accidentally.

MC to improve roads around dry port

Husband taken to Delhi for narco test

The city police has taken Sukhdeep Singh, prime accused in the Amanpreet murder case, to the CBI laboratory in New Delhi for a narco test. DIG Ishwar Singh said the police would get into the depth of the case for which the lie detector test of the prime accused, who is the husband of the victim, was essential.
