Temperature: The minimum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere. They were markedly below normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and appreciably below normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was -01.6°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).
