Phillaur, October 27
Despite tall claims of a rock solid alliance and complete unity between the leaders of the SAD-BJP coalition, by the senior leaders of the parties, it is clear that all is not well with the internal matters of both the parties. This was alleged by Bahujan Samaj Morcha national president Satnam Singh Kainth while talking to newsmen here on Saturday.

He said, the people of the state were suffering due to internal differences in the parties, as proved in the recent days. The statements of the acting president of the SAD Sukhbir Singh Badal, finance minister Manpreet Singh Badal, Punjab BJP affairs incharge Balbir Punj, president Prof Rajinder Bhandari and Punjab local bodies minister Manoranjan Kalia, on various issues, proved that the entire working of the state has been paralysed due to this unfortunate infighting within both the parties.

Kainth said the SAD-BJP government could not fulfill the expectations of the people and did nothing for the welfare and interests of the people even after eight months of its formation.

“The law and order situation in the state is deteriorating and criminal incidents like robberies, killings, thefts and rapes are on a rise, but nobody in the government seems to be controlling the situation,” he said. The common man has been knocking the doors of various government offices to get justice, which is unavailable in SAD-BJP rule, he added.
