Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, rose in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in west Rajasthan, above normal in east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 2.9°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 26: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and west Rajasthan.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 26: Mist/fog in the morning. Mainly clear sky likely to become partly cloudy towards evening/night. The minimum temperature will be around 6°C.
