Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little.

Departure: They were above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 2.6°C recorded at Ludhiana (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 21: Isolated rain/snow is likely in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
