Cold wave conditions have abated from west Rajasthan. Cold day conditions are prevailing in Haryana.

Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The night temperatures fell in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were below normal in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 2.8 degree Celsius recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast (valid until the morning of December 15): Weather will be mainly dry over the region.

Low temperature warning: Ground frost is likely at a few places in Haryana, Punjab and north Rajasthan during the next two nights.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood (valid until the morning of December 15): Mainly clear sky. Chilly surface winds during day time. Fog in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 7 degree Celsius.
