Cold wave conditions are prevailing in parts of southwest Rajasthan and are likely to continue and extend into parts of Haryana and Punjab and some more parts of Rajasthan.
Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Haryana, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.
Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Uttaranchal, fell in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, rose in Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.4 degree Celsius recorded at Ludhiana.
