Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Haryana. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

The chief amounts of precipitation in cm are: Jammu and Kashmir: Banihal and Quazigund 2 each and Pahalgam and Srinagar 1 each.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Punjab, fell in Haryana and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were largely above normal in west Uttar Pradesh, appreciably above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.8° C recorded at Ludhiana.

Forecast valid until the morning of December 9: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: A fresh western disturbance likely to affect out region around December 10.

Forecast for Delhi and Neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 9: Partly cloudy sky. Mist/fog likely tomorrow morning. The minimum temperature will be around 13°C.
