Manmohan Singh ‘failure’ as economist: Jaitley

Training his guns on the economist-turned-Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, the BJP general secretary, Mr Arun Jaitley, today termed Dr Manmohan Singh as the "weakest" Prime Minister and a "failure" as an economist alleging that his position in the UPA set-up had jeopardised the national security.

Last night, life dangled between pain and death on the Ramgarh-Barwala highway as frantic screams filled the air. Three victims of a head-on collision between two trucks on the highway sat in the mangled remains of the truck, trapped inside and desperate to get out.

Price rise to be poll plank of BJP-SAD-CVM alliance

A woman has accused her brother-in-law and his son of defrauding her of Rs 54.50 lakh by fraudulently withdrawing money from her account. She has also accused a senior official of a bank of being hand-in-glove with the accused.
