Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, at a few places in Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Haryana and at isolated places in Punjab, East Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cm are: Jammu and Kashmir: Banihal, Batote and Bhaderwah 1 each.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell appreciably in West Rajasthan, fell in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were markedly above normal in Haryana, East Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh, appreciably above normal in West Rajasthan and East Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 08.2°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).
