Arhtiyas meet: Keeping in view the difficulties being faced by the commission agents (Arhtiyas) in the grain markets throughout Punjab, an open meeting will be held in New Grain Market, Samrala, on November 24, in which all the office bearers and active workers of the commission agents throughout Punjab will take part, said Mr Naresh Khullar, General Secretary of the Samrala Commission Agents Association, here today. Mr Khullar appealed to the arhtias to take maximum participation in the open ajlas. He also said a resolution will be passed against the politicians who are giving false statements against the arhtias.

Tributes paid: Tributes were paid to Mr Jasvir Singh, brother of Mr Jasmel Singh Bondli, chairman, Primary Land Mortgage Bank, Samrala, who was killed during an accident in young age, last week.
