A valuable contribution of 58 runs by Gurinder Saini, ably supported by Anupam Gambhir enabled Professional Cricket Club beat Nivea Cricket Club in the quarterfinal match of the fourth Prudential Cricket Cup played at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 27 grounds here, today.

Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Nivea club scored 127 runs in 19 overs. Gurinder Saini and Kamal Walia of Professional club took 3 wickets each.

Professional team achieved the target with 8 wickets in hand and 6 overs to spare.

Scores: Godrej: 233 for 5 in 30 overs (Jai Kapil 105 n.o, Sanjay Bhatia 89, Vaneet Chawla 31, Raj 2 for 35)
