Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cm are: Jammu and Kashmir: Kupwara 3 and Batote and Banihal 1 each. Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: This was markedly above normal in Haryana, Punjab and west Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and above normal in Uttaranchal. The lowest temperature in the plains was 12.7°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 14: Rain/snow will occur at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
