Departure: They wereappreciably above normal in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan andwest Uttar Pradesh, above normal in East Uttar Pradesh andUttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 13.6°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 11: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Punjab and East Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly in the rest of the region.
