E-PAYMENT FACILITY: The State Bank of Patiala, Main Branch, Kalka, has decided to offer e-payment facility for excise and service tax. The taxpayers will have to maintain an Internet banking accounts with the branch. The facility will be provided to all customers in Panchkula and Kalka subdivision, according to Mr S.C. Dhall, branch head at Kalka.CONFERENCE: The sixth triennial conference of the All-India UCO Bank Officers Federation will be held here from Saturday. workshop: Live demonstration on videourodynamics, electromyography, pressure flow study, urethral pressure profilometry and biofeedback was given to urologists at an international instructional course and workshop organised by the department of urology, the PGIMER, here on Friday. Earlier Dr V. Sakhuja, Dean of the PGI, inaugurated the workshop and highlighted clinical application of
urodynamics. Charge given: Consequent upon the repatriation of Mr Wazeer Singh Goyat, HCS, Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh, to his parent state of Haryana, the Chandigarh Administration has given the charge of the work of the post of Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh, to the Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh, with immediate effect, in addition to his own duties till further orders. Nominated: The Chandigarh Administration has nominated Mrs Harjinder Kaur, a resident of House No 2552, Sector 35, and Mr Arshad Khan, resident of House No 120, Sector 28-A, Chandigarh, as members of the Administrators’ Advisory Council to advise the Chandigarh Administration on developmental issues and policy matters affecting the city. The terms of the council shall be for a period of two years.
