Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Rajasthan, and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 39.4°C recorded at Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 18.4°C recorded at Udaipur city (Rajasthan).
