11 fresh cases of dengue reported

With four more positive cases of dengue reported at the Postgraduate Institute
of Medical Education and Research and seven at the Government Medical College
and Hospital, Sector 32, the total number of dengue patients in city hospitals
has gone up to 34 since last week.

The operations cell of the Chandigarh Police arrested one person while he was allegedly carrying 12 kg of ganja. According to the police, Mohammad Ansari of Bihar was arrested from near Khudda Ali Sher on Thursday evening. His search led to the recovery of 12 kg of ganja.
