Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan, at many places in west Rajasthan, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amount of rainfall in cm are:
