HOSHIARPUR NAWANSHAHR Blood donation camp: A blood donation camp was organised by the Lions Club and the Blood Donors Council to mark the Independence Day at the BDC Complex on Tuesday. The camp was inaugurated by former district governor of the club, Mr Shiv Sekhri. Police stops protest: The members of the Unemployed B.Ed Teachers Union were stopped from taking out a protest march by the police and were taken to the police station on Tuesday. The teachers were demanding filling of 60,000 vacant posts of teachers on a regular basis by the government.
