Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, west Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and at a few places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Dhansa 5, New Delhi (Ridge) and New Delhi (Safdarjung) 2 each, Panchkula 1, Himachal Pradesh: Kasol and Nagrotasurain 5 each, Kahu 3, Sunibhaji 2 and Nadaun, Pandoh, Paonta, Rampurbushahar, Solangnala and Shimla 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu and Katra 3 each and Batote 1, Punjab: Amritsar and Ludhiana 2 each, East Rajasthan: Jaipur and Pilani 1 each, West Rajasthan: Jaisalmer 4 and Churu 2, East Uttar Pradesh: Gorakhpur 8, Ghazipur 5, Bani and Bhatpurwaghat 3 each, Birdghat 2 and Hanumansetu, Jaunpur and Neemsar 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Jalalabad 6, Pawaya 5, Dabri 3 and Hindon and Shahjahanpur 1 each, Uttaranchal: Hardwar 3 and Pantnagar 1.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures fell markedly in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, fell appreciably in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, fell in east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were largely below normal in Punjab, markedly below normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh, appreciably below normal in Himachal Pradesh and west Uttar Pradesh, below normal in east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 43.4°C recorded at Bikaner (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 30: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region. Isolated thunder-squalls are likely in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh during the next 48 hours.

For Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 30: Generally cloudy sky with rain/thundershowers in some areas. The maximum temperature will be around 35C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of June 30. Light to moderate rain will occur at many places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
