cm are: Haryana: Delhi Ridge 2 and Ayanagar and New Delhi (Safdarjung) 1 each and east Rajasthan: Jaipur 2 and Kota 1.

Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures fell markedly in Himachal Pradesh, fell appreciably in Punjab, fell in Haryana and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

This was appreciably above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, largely below normal in Punjab, markedly below normal in Himachal Pradesh, appreciably below normal in Haryana and west Rajasthan, below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in
the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 43.8°C recorded at Varanasi
AP (Uttar Pradesh).
