Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Haryana and east Uttar Pradesh, at many places in Punjab, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Ambala 5, Chandigarh, Delhi Ridge and Naraingarh 4 each, Kalka and Karnal 3 each, Ayanagar, New Delhi (Palam) and Sirsa 2 each and Hisar, New Delhi (Safdarjung), Panchkula and Rohtak 1 each, and Bhuntar, Kahu, Pandoh and Sunibhaji 1 each, Punjab: Patiala 3 and Balachaur, Ludhiana and Nangal 1 each, East Rajasthan: Jhalawar 4 and Kota and Swai Madhopur 1 each, West Rajasthan: Bikaner and Churu 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Varanasi A.P. 2 and Bahraich, Sultanpur and Varanasi City 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Sarsawa 5 and Hindon 4 and Uttaranchal: Dehradun 9 and Mukteshwar and Tehri 3 each.
Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures fell largely in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, fell markedly in Uttaranchal, fell appreciably in Punjab and Rajasthan, fell in Himachal Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

This was above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, largely below normal in west Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, markedly below normal in Haryana and east Rajasthan, appreciably below normal in Punjab and Uttaranchal and normal in rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 26.4°C recorded at Udaipur A.P. (Rajasthan).
