Rainfall: Rain/Snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in east Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry
in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little. Departure. They were appreciably above normal in Haryana. Himachal Pradesh,

Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and above normal in west Rajasthan. The highest temperature in the region was 35.5C recorded at Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: This was appreciably above normal in Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 8.2°C recorded at Chandigarh.

Forecast valid until the morning of March 8: Rain/snow is likely at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal.

Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
