UT plans 4,100 houses for govt employees

The Chandigarh Administration is planning to construct more than 4,100 new houses in the city to provide accommodation to employees of Punjab and Haryana governments.

The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) today quashed the 2004 notification by which the employees of the Chandigarh Administration were asked to give their options for transfer to the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation after they had been declared surplus.

Saini Samaj honours Bhujbal

100 structures demolished in Kharag Mangoli

The enforcement wing of the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) today demolished 100 permanent structures and 20 hutments that had come up illegally on HUDA land in Kharag Mangoli today.
