Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were normal over the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 3.8C at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of January 24: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of January 24: Partly cloudy. Mist/fog in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 06C.
