Temperatures: Past 24-hour change: The minimum temperature changed little.

Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Punjab, below normal in Haryana, west Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 1.2°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 22: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 22: Partly cloudy sky. Mist/fog in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 7°C.
