Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. Pahalgam (Jammu and Kashmir) has recorded 1 cm of precipitation.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperature fell appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were above normal in Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38.9°C recorded at Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were above normal in Himachal Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 17.0°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).
