Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in East Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in East Rajasthan and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, West Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm. are: East Rajasthan: Bijolia 5, Begu, Bagidora, Bhadesar, Chittorgarh, Kota and Nainwa 3 each, Bari Sadri, Chhoti Sadri, Dungla, Danpur, Kesarpura, Ladpura and Sabla 2 each and Aspur, Bhopalsagar, Kapasan, Mavli, Mandalgarh, Malpura and Shergarh 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Jaunpur 7, Mirzapur and Mukhlishpur 6 each, Ballia and Chillaghat 5 each, Bani and Phaphamau 3 each, Allahabad, Banda, Bansi, Dalmau, Fatehpur, Kanpur, Kakrahi and Varanasi AP 2 each and Balrampur, Basti, Chhatnag and Mohana 1 each and West Uttar Pradesh: Kalpi 2 and Auraiya and Fatehgarh 1 each.
