Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: east Uttar Pradesh: Basti 4 and Regoli 2.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 4: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
