Rs 25 lakh excise evasion detected

Ludhiana, September 1 The Central Excise Department here has unearthed a case of clandestine manufacturing and removal of MS ingots from an induction furnace unit at Mangarh village near Kohara on the Chandigarh-Ludhiana road here during a raid conducted on Tuesday.

Arrest warrant against cop after three years

Mr Sarwan Kumar Sharma, chairman, Nishkam Seva Ashram, has played a pivotal role in providing the child a good home. Talking to Ludhiana Tribune today, Mr Sharma said: “The child was brought to the ashram yesterday.
