Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm. are: east Rajasthan: Aspur, Ganeshpur and Kanva 1 each, West Rajasthan: Nohar 1, east Uttar Pradesh: Gorakhpur 1 and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 11: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of August 11: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundry development in some areas during evening/night.
