Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Rajasthan, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm. are: Haryana: Kalka 1, Himachal Pradesh: Chamba 5, Nagrotasurian 4, Berthin 3, Bhuntar and Sujanpurtira 2 each and Bangana, Bharwain, Pandoh and Paonta 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Bhoond 20, Patti 13, Basoli 11, Jammu 3 and Katra 2, Punjab: Ranjitsagardam 7, Shahpurkandi 5 and Nangal 2, East Rajasthan: Mavli 19, Jhadol and Nathdwara 14 each, Gogunda 13, Bhopalsagar and Rajsammand 8 each, Ramganjmandi 7, Udaipur city 6, Dungla and Girva 5 each, Amet, Jhalawar, Kumher, Kapasan, Nimbahera and Udaipur AP 4 each and Bijoliya, Chhipabroad, Chittorgarh, Kotda, Mount Abu, Pindwara, Rawatbhata, Sirohi and Vallabhnagar 3 each, West Rajasthan: Ramsar 5, Desuri and Jaswantpura 3 each, Balotra, Jalore, Pali, Raniwara and Raipur 2 each and Bilara, Bhinmal and Siwana 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Kakrahi and Katerniaghat 2 each and Bansi, Bilara, Bhinga and Shardanagar 1 each and Uttaranchal: Bausan 9, Haripur 6, Joshimath 2 and Dehra Dun and Uttarkashi 1 each.
