Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh, at many places in east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and Uttaranchal. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are Himachal Pradesh: Sujanpurtira 10, Berthin 8, Kasol and Shimla 7 each, Barsar, Kahu, Sunibhaji and Sundernagar 5 each, Pandoh 4, Ghamroor 3 and Nadaun 1. Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 4. East Uttar Pradesh: Katerniaghat 6, Jaunpur 4, Chandradeepghat, Kakardharighat, Sultanpur and Varanasi A.P. 3 each, Bahraich 2 and Ayodhya, Basti, Balrampur, Birdhgat, Elginbridge, Hanumansetu, Lucknow and Mukhlishpur 1 each. West Uttar Pradesh: Bareilly 2.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 22: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
