Monsoon has been vigorous in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and active in Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall: Rain thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at many places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and at a few places in west Rajasthan. Forecast valid until the morning of July 7: Rain /thundershowers will occur at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh,Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in west Rajasthan.

Heavy rainfall warning: Scattered heavy rain with isolated very heavy falls is likely in southwest Uttar Pradesh during the next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rain is also likely in Haryana. Himachal Pradesh, Jammu division of Jammu and Kahsmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan, rest Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the same period.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of July 7: Generally cloudy sky with a few spells of rain/thundershowers. One or two may be heavy in some areas.
