Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Punjab, at a few places in Haryana and at isolated places in west Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose appreciably in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh, rose in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed little in elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in west Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 45.6 recorded at Jhalawar (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 12: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttaranchal. Duststorm/ thunderstorm likely at a few places in west Rajasthan and at isolated places in Haryana, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 12: Partly cloudy sky with dust haze. Duststorm/thunderstorm accompanied with squall is likely in some areas towards evening/ night. The maximum temperature will be around 40°C.
