Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh, at a few places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Bhang, Sunnibhaji and Shimla 2 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Quazigund 1 and Uttaranchal: Mukteshwar 3.
Temperature:
Past 24 Hours change: The maximum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, fell in Himachal Pradesh and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.
Departure:
They were above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, below normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 41.6°C recorded at Behraich and Sultanpur (Uttar Pradesh).
