Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 43.0°C recorded at Sultanpur (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of April 19: Isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
